What We Stand For
We believe in our ability to create anything we desire despite our circumstances and in the face of adversity.
We focus on building a strong, supportive community of women and forming bonds of friendship in our mission.
We cultivate health in all aspects of our lives: physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, financial, social and sexual.
We smash stigmas, speak the unspoken and ignore societal standards that dictate how we should be, look, think, feel and act.
We aim to be positive role models to which other females can look and aspire as an alternative to the negative script of society.
I always struggled with low self-esteem, and in my late teens I spiralled into darkness. I suffered with alcoholism, anorexia, binge-eating, self-harm and other mental illnesses. I spent my early twenties in and out of psychiatric hospitals and rehabs. I could see no future, no hope, no light.
As I recovered, through much pain and darkness, I grew a passion to help other women break from the shame, show up for themselves and tell their story.
Now on threshold of my thirties, I’m on a mission to inspire and empower women to see themselves as worthy, so that they can grow in confidence and in courage. Together, we are raising up a voice about the struggles that we face, because we are better together.
You can add your voice to the movement by joining us over in our free community, Girls Untold. We’d love to meet you!
